Core Values
These are perhaps the most important and core beliefs that make up the soul of the clan. They are etched into the hearts of each member, they flow within their veins, they guide their every breath and step in this world.
Loyalty and Unity Above All
Unity is the secret ingredient to what all the Dark Guards are and all they do, and all they have achieved. Love, loyalty, respect and trust. The bonds of the brotherhood supersede personal ties. Loyalty to fellow clan members is paramount; each member stands by their kin in shadows and light. A Dark Guard values the voice of their brothers and sisters equally, as they value their own. Even if they have a different function, all members have equal rights. Each life among the Dark Guard is valued equally, and in turn, more than anything or anyone else. The only thing more valuable than the life of a Dark Guard is the clan and its values. They live with and for their brothers and sisters, to the fullest, sharing all, and they die together, the only thing worth dying for is the clan itself.
The Red Sash
Whenever someone becomes a part of the brotherhood, they are bestowed with the honour to wear the most valuable symbol of the clan – the Red Sash! This symbol represents their commitment to the brotherhood, the blood that flows through every Dark Guard – one and the same. They become a part of the unbreakable Red Circle of Sashes. The Red Sash is the physical mark of their eternal tie to the clan, proudly worn by every member to show the whole wide world who they are and where they belong. The Dark Guards fiercely defend their sash, as for them it represents their family, their values and all they stand for, who they are as a person and as a clan.
Death, Glory, Freedom!
The defining values that unite this brotherhood and are reminded to their enemies before every battle – Death, Glory and Freedom. Heard from far away, their battle cry instils unfathomable fear in the hearts of their enemies! They are not just simple words, but each signifies a core principle for the Dark Guards, which they evoke when uttered:
Death – By death we claim what is ours. Death comes to us all, and when it does, we choose to meet it with a smile and with our brothers and sisters by our side.
Glory – Our names and our story shall forever echo through history. We claim our glory, and let the chorus of its song make us immortal! Let’s live a life that even death could not silence!
Freedom– Be always true to yourself. We are born free to follow our hearts, our desires and our passion! Let no one break our stride, we choose how to live and die. Our will is our own and no king or queen, no god or even death itself can reign over our burning spirits. We are who we are, forever, indomitable, wild and free.

The Oath of The Dark Guard
All members of The Dark Guard shall swear an unbreakable oath of allegiance to the brotherhood and its ideals. Betrayal is unforgivable. Every member trusts another who wears the Red Sash absolutely and without hesitation or a shadow of doubt. The oath is our solemn promise to each other and the world itself, that we shall live the life we’ve chosen together and forever. No one can take it away from you but yourself, shall you ever break it. The clan is made strong and unbreakable because of the spirit and commitment of each member. The chain is as strong as its weakest link. And there are no weak links in the Dark Guard.
